So, the old gal is lying. I wonder what her salary is? I was going to apply for one of the 87,000 IRS jobs, but the job with Eastern may be more of a fit for me.

Gun and Trophy. Plus, they are trap shooters.

I doubt that she's lying Bill. Ken stated that he contacted Hanover and not Eastern as you had previously alluded to. Hanover is the Carrier and this is a specialty division without doubt that a good deal of their folks probably do not have any knowledge of, nothing abnormal about her response. Now if Ken had contacted Eastern and they would have made that comment that would have been a little concerning, however that is not going to happen as I can assure that Laura knows full well what Carriers paper their program is written on. It has been with Hanover as long as I can recall.

I use SIAI(Sportsman's Insurance Agency, Inc.). I have never put in a claim so I cannot testify on that end. Their coverage is quite broad. You have to be a member of one of several shooting organizations, ATA, NSCA, etc. I don't think PGCA is one.

I just insured with Gun and Trophy. Easy Peasy. Took all of ten minutes, including a terrific phone call with Larry Cushman, the agent. As previously mentioned, great guy and a passionate trap shooter. Paid my premium and -poof- all guns are insured.

Another question on a related note: Does anyone have any experience with insuring fly rods, beyond a regular homeowner's policy coverage?

Thanks,
Dave
