There were a couple of small bore Purdy hammer guns too. One had sleeved barrels and the other apparently re-barreled.

Haha, yes I did Reggie. "Little" being the operative word. A refinished (likely DelGrego) and "like new" VH 28 with 26" barrels. IC/Mod, Ball Grip Stock and DHBP. The Identification and Serialization Book incorrectly listed the gun as a 12 gauge which may be why it was still available. Haven't taken any pictures yet but will later tonight.

Dan, I made that same road trip on May 2nd and was also impressed with the collection. In the Parker group, several long legged small bores. However, like you said, most had been restored and were a little pricey for this “hunter”. I drove down there looking for a 16 ga. Sterlingworth with 30” barrels, and it followed me home.

That sounds like a great gun Jeff. I love the 16's and bought a DHE from Jaqua's a few months ago with 30" barrels. I also had a VHE 28 follow me home this time.
