A little while ago I got another e-mail from Claybuster. It was very nice but essentially the same message but from the vice president. At least they are thinking about it.

When i looked into the MEC steel wads i spoke with the then owner of Precision Reloading in Conn. and he contacted MEC about the molds in order to make them himself and found out they had been scrapped for a tax write off. If Claybuster could strike a deal with Remington to use their molds it may be beneficial to both.

When steel reloading was in it's infancy MEC made a steel shot specific conversion kit for a single stage machine and the wads and load info to go with it. I had a bad duck habit at the time and 2 teenage sons so feeding those 3 guns with factory ammo was out.
Still have a bag but i do not do pictures!

Harry, Mr. Thompson at times just doesn't know how to write a polite reply. He fails to realize not everyone is the expert he is. Don't let it stop you from asking questions or joining in the discussions.
