The auction house was contacted by Proxibid Resolution team today and they asked the auctioneer to do the right thing and return the gun and allow it to be purchased by me. They have until Monday to do this. After that, a lawsuit will be filed in Maryland and the folks who do the licensing will be notified. I know it's just a gun, but it's the trust in the bidding process that's violated here. It makes a person VERY suspicious of bidding. I did point out to Proxibid that this is their name at stake also, as many folks do not know that Proxibid actually had nothing to do with what happened, but... they are hosting the auction.
