Even then, it's far from a guaranteed. Even I have many sets of stamps, as did Delgrego, and others. A true skeet gun from the factory almostt always had a checkered butt. That's not to say it couldn't be ordered otherwise. Even reputable sellers like Jaquas can be judicious with the photographs, which might include a SN.

The PH 28ga, while born with 16ga. Twist barrels, is still Parker, in that the 28ga. barrels were added by the factory, but the letter indicates it originally had a hockey stick butt stock, with a 3 3/4" DAH. The picture isn't conclusive, but it 'looks like far less than that now, so I'd be curious what sn appears beneath the tang.
I think 0 framed 28ga guns may be one of the last bargains out there, and they have been slowly creeping up in price.

The PH 28 gauge Edgar was talking about has a PGCA letter. When the gun was returned it was requested to add swells back in old barrels. What are swells?

I saw that too, Frank. I just figured the owner had sentimental attachment to a couple bulged chambers.

No Parkers would come up for me in the search either.

As Andy noted, it's likely your pop-up blocker. That was the issue when I tried to look at them.
