I’ve been wearing the kangaroo upland boots for years. I have two pair in rotation now(one for daily work and one for hunting) and I have a third pair in the box. They are warm, dry, lightweight and comfortable. I prefer a vibram sole over a lug for most of my work and hunting. I wear lug soles while logging and hunting in the snow.

You guys must have newer LL Bean Kangaroo boots than mine. Mine have Vibram soles and I have no difficulty in snow. In fact, that is about the only time I wear them as they are too warm for milder temps. I think mine are over 10 years old.

I have had about 3 or 4 pair of the LL Bean kangaroo and they are fine, reasonable cost they don’t last forever but I use them a lot during the fall and winter season, not just for hunting. Lite weight and easy to break in
I’m currently trying Keen Brand so far vey good.

I have two pairs of the LL Bean kangaroo leather boots, non insulated for dog training and warmer grouse season, and an older insulated pair for pheasant season. Great boots, comfortable, breath well, good traction and mostly waterproof as long as I treat them. I’ve used them in just about any weather and have been happy. Take then over my old Danners without hesitation.
