I'm with Kevin on this one, I like to see birds and bird dogs on "obvious" bird guns, although a rabbit is not out of place on one, I guess.

We know of a couple of B Lifters with rabbits as the motif on the lockplates.

Years ago I showed Kevin my CHE at a pigeon shoot. He looked at the floorplate and made some caustic comment about elk on a bird gun. I agree, but I liked those elk. They were executed beautifully down the the little "thingy" between the bulls legs. At the time I was amused at Kevin's comment and still am. Another great memory of shooting with the Maryland boys. I miss them.

Sadly this CHE 20 does not fit me.
I am looking to barter - preferably for a Parker .410
I will bring gun to Hausman's next month.
