I will admit, I was nervous when I was unable to reach Mike. In actuality, he did my set of barrels in 10 days, and I gave him the dimensions I wanted. He hit them spot on and the bores are as near perfect as a 120 gun can be. $120 is a bargain.
Mike only does barrel work, so he's not spread thin in any department. The best part is I hand delivered them, and picked them up, avoiding any shipping horrors.

I will second the opinion that you need to be specific with Mike. Perhaps painfully specific. Do this, Dont do that.
He was very fast and friendly however. We all have our bad days.

He has opened up several chokes for me on Parker, Foxes and SKB's. Mike can also open up guns that have chrome lined bores. PS. I put a sticky on each barrel of what I wanted that's barrels constriction to be. Enclosed a check for the full amount to include shipping. Barrels were done and back in my hands in about 4 days. I didn't even call him first, but I did use tracking for the barrels and knew when they arrived at his shop. Everything I have had him do has been spot on correct. His sweet spot now doubt is opening chokes IMO.
