I wouldn’t waste my time making shot unless it was a last resort . I however had a friend that had two of the Littleton shot makers and he made quite a lot . I never loaded any shells with his shot but I shot a pile of shells he loaded with his own shot and they did quite nicely . My friends passed on to the here after but before he passed he was having a hard time finding lead for his shot makers at a price that made it worthwhile .

I fear the current shot-producing resorts are going the way of Vegas’s Riviera. If anyone is selling one of these Littleton contraptions, please let me know. I am interested.

There used to be a guy somewhere in the Southeast that had some Littletons. He would make you shot if you provided the lead. He took a toll out of the lead as pay for making it for you. His wife actually made the shot, AIR.

I never had a problem with it. Every spring we would go down to the Winchester club in the "Cities" and pick up a ton. We shot it for skeet and 16 yard trap.
