Thanks.

I recently inherited a Parker Bros SBT with the following markings on the water table:
PAT'D October 25, 1916 SAA 220773 4 Can anyone help with any specifications (grade, etc) and an estimate of insurance value? Both the metal work and wood are in good to very good condition. |
No existing records on this serial no. It would be helpful if you could post some pictures of the gun.
|
Yes, there is a bit of a conflict between the SAA and the 4. Pictures are required to identify your gun.

On a bit of a learning curve here.
I hope to have attached five pictures of the gun that I mentioned. Let's see if they go through. |
You have an SC grade Parker. Nice looking gun.

Thanks.
There don't seem to be many of these on the market so arriving at a valuation for insurance purposes is a bit of challenge... |
Shawn, a number of variables must be considered when attempting to put a value on these guns. Condition, configuration and originality are to name just a few. In my opinion a typical "untouched/not messed with" SC would be valued in the $2,500.00 to $3,500.00 price range. To put a more specific value on your gun, be it more or less than the range I proffered, would require someone giving it a hands on inspection.

A very fine inheritance.
