Congrats Steve. I'm sliding down the expensive money hole just like you with these things : ) It's awesome. Where in Maine? We go up a lot, my wife and I were married in Camden. Post photos! I find the more I look, the more I learn from people on here. I can't imagine having that knowledge but enjoy learning.

I've had a lot of different guns over the years, but never a Parker till now! Hopefully, I can figure out how to post photos... I don't have a photo hosting service, and it looks like I'd need one to post my photos.. |
Steve - you don’t need a photo hosting service to post your pictures here.
Go to our HOME page and at the left you’ll see a column of links. At the bottom of the column see FAQ’s or Frequently Asked Questions... click on that... At the bottom of that page you’ll see how to post pictures. It’s all there - just follow the instructions. I find that if you don’t edit and crop your picture only a very tiny bit they’ll post sideways or upside-down. . |

There's something about that PH engraving I just love. It's simple and just so cool.

Both of these guns just amaze me, but the PH 12ga is just soo awesome just to look at. Between the engraving and the damascus pattern, I just love it.
The Trojan 20ga is pretty sweet too! Just not quite so pretty! |
Steve, please show us the floor plate of your PH.

Here’s a few more pics
Can you tell me anything about the little engraved shield on the underside of the butt stock? Would Webster Gatchell be the likely original owner? |
