I actually owned a 28 Repro that had Briley thin walls in a 28" set of barrels so I know at least some of the time they have been done. Always have regretted selling that gun as it shot well and felt great with the longer barrels.

If y’all’s really have some good fun ? Get a set of Briley’s 410 tubes fitted to the barrels.
That’s what I did, and RARELY ever take them out. And gun still balancing well with them in the 26” barrels. It’s really a real ... Hoot-to-Shoot ! ! !

I sold my two favorite Repros and I have seller’s regret to this day.

At least Kathy still has hers though arthritis prevents her from shooting it anymore. We’ll see what 2021 brings...

The first year of the Southern, tubed guns were still allowed in the sub gauge events. I won the overall .410 event with a Briley tubed 20 gauge GH Damascus gun. I shot the whole event with 2 1/2" shells when I discovered that the tubes had not been bore for 3" shells and they would not go in. I also didn't change my chokes because I ran the first station with Improved Modified and Full and didn't see the need to change. My tubes haven't been out in years.
