I agree William. Parker Bros. Considered a gun to be choked “cylinder” if it had .003” or .004” or less. Those are excellent hunting patterns and would likely be effective out to about 40 yards.

I have a CH 12 that letters with a cylinder choke in the right barrel. It measures at .004" Interestingly, a 16 GH lettering with a cylinder choke also measures .004" I'm sure that if you could find and shoot some 1904 shells through that gun, the pattern would open up some. Modern ammo and plastic shot cups can tighten those old chokes. The patterns you have look great to me.
