Yup, one has less than five pound barrels on a #2 frame. The other has six pound barrels on probably a #3 or #4 frame and two different barrel steels. It would make a great cased set if the numbers were truly consecutive. Shoot quail with one, geese with the other. Most of us have a multi purpose set like that. The only thing missing is the consecutive serial numbers.

I do have a Grade 2, 30" barreled 12 gauge Lifter with laminated steel barrels that is in very similar condition to the 10 gauge on GunBroker.
I also have that 12 Gauge Grade 2 Lifter I mentioned with 32" Barrels that is close in that serial# range. Either one of those D grade 10ga. lifters could certainly complement my 12 gauges. Maybe I should make a 12/10 2 gun set... |

Here is a 20/10 gauge two gun set I put together.

That's sweet Wayne. Personally I would like to hear more about those two.

Thanks Randy. I really don't want to say too much and ruin a future article for the Parker Pages. :corn:

Good deal Wayne, I am glad to hear that. It sounds to me like our esteemed editor, Mountain Boy Mike, has a lot of good articles on great Guns coming his way. Can't wait to read yours. Thanks!

Those are very nice Wayne!!! The more I have the thought about it the more I think I might try to get one of the Lifters I had originally posted about.
And I am very much looking forward to reading about your two beautiful hammer guns in Parker Pages! |
Thanks Jay. I know which lifter I would try to add to my collection.

Wayne, I think we thinking about the same gun which would match my laminated 12 gauge lifter nicely: http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthread.php?t=20845
A quick note, the issues with the above gun have been addressed and were not as bad as originally thought. The barrels were fixed as well as the stock. I should shoot it more, but it is the nicest condition Parker I have. Anyway, a grade 3 10 with laminated barrels would help create a nice 12/10 set... |
