Interesting post. I have two grade 2 16s that are consecutively numbered. I bought them a year apart at auction not knowing they were so numbered. Both are lightening cut O frames. Not in the greatest condition, but nice pieces of history.

55,094, 095 and 096 were all 26" Grade 0 guns.
55,094 was sold to Mr. JG Bellrose of Burlington, Vermont and shipped on August 7th, 1890. 55,096 was sold to L.H.Mayott, of Springfield, Massachusetts, and shipped on August 7th, 1890 L.H.Mayott was a sporting goods retailer. |
