1931 mfg VHE 32” high rib, single selective trigger, straight stock, 1 1/2 frame, 14 1/2” LOP, 1 3/8”- 2 3/8”, medallion is engraved “FKS”, F (.33)RT and IC (.12) LT, BTFE and weighing in about 8 lb 13 oz.
I have a Parker letter and have G&H info too. Somewhere between 1931 and 1947 the stock was changed from capped pistol grip to English. Still haven’t found who FKS was? How’s that? |

Randy, don’t knock Garanimals. It keeps it simple!! Kind of like denim, black tees and plaid shirts. Always appropriate and never out of style. 😁 |
8 lb-13oz on that frame, WHOA. That one came out of the Men's Department for sure. It has to be a real joy to shoot. It surpasses my 34" VR gun with a PG wide comb trap style stock by some 7 oz. I must have missed that when you first told me of it. I'm envious. Congrats on that one.

FKS= Frank "the King" Srebro. Just saying.

Thanks for letting me shoot her. Those dimensions are just about perfect for me (read: smoke balls). :) |
Where does the "Griffith" moniker come in?

Here's a fuzzy cut of the 22 straights copied from the American Field. Griffith in rear row, far right. Ansley Fox in front row, 4th from left. |

Yet when I pressed to have Fox hoodies to sell you guys laughed at me!!! It is now a "gettin' dirty" hoodie instead of a dress up for shootin' hoodie. |
