The ravages of a salt wood gun. Beautiful transformation and in only 9 months.

A great way to bring back a salt wood gun. Enjoy!

Superposed

Beautiful restoration. Angelo took a Skket grade 20 ga Model 21 and turned it into my Dessa Gun with my Brittany on the floorplate, and S Tx doves and Quail on the sides. He turned that around for me in 2-3 months some 5 years ago. never seen his picture so thanks for posting him. He looks like a Belgium tall and thin!!

You know, I really have a problem with Superpose guns and even Citori’s. The barrels are mounted the wrong way and they have only one trigger but they fit me like they were made for me and I shoot them better than any other gun I that I own. They are light, well balanced and handle like a dream. I wish I owned a Parker that performed as well but to date I have not and I don’t expect to.

The 20 Superpose I own was made in 1959 and the original owner was an old family friend. It has a tremendous amount of sentimental value and I’ll always cherish it. They really are special guns.

Welding up those pits "on faith" took some real craftsmanship in an area that we don't normally reserve for craftsmen. Saved a really beautiful gun. Thanks for the photos.

Good evening Bill.
You can't weld pits. Polished and feathered.
Plenty of meat on the 28 gauge barrels.
