Looking at the pics, very nice case coloring overall nice gun, I can't remember the price ( I am sure others have given you an idea of price) but it looks to be a buy to me. Eric

It is a gun that any of us would be interested in buying. If you buy it, I would make an offer on the grip cap. It is just my kind of grip cap. Wait a minute. UPDATE, UPDATE. I went back to the original thread and looked closely at the picture of the breech section. I can see a sleeve line. I think the gun is sleeved. If it is a very good sleeve job, the gun's value may be ??? Anyone have an opinion? I think a nice gun like this with well sleeved barrels may be worth $1200. I would rather have the original Damascus for about $1600, but the sleeved gun still has value, but less than if original. I just went back and looked at the picture again and I can't see the sleeve line. I don't know what to think. Mike just has to look at the breech area with a good magnifier to determine what he is looking at. It is almost impossible to hide a sleeve line from a good magnifier.

Bill, I have some old ivory that you can have a cap made from if you are not able to buy that one. But first I would want a letter on the gun to be sure that the ivory cap isn't original and special ordered.

Well I have going to buy the shotgun tomorrow. The seller agreed to $1800 with the luggage case. Does anyone know a good person to take this shotgun to in the Chattanooga, TN area to get it checked out?

The Parker Gunsmith of choice down there would be Bill Schwarz in North Georgia. I can't find his address. He's somewhere in the mountains. He can be reached at 706-276-7668.
