John,

I checked what I had here for SBT forend parts.

I have a total of 5 set forend wood in the parts drawers. ONE of those have the 3/8" diameter hole for the draw bolt head (which is also the standard size for the doubles). the other 4 are 11/16" diameter.
I have 3 SBT draw bolts. And those all have 11/16" heads on them. The length of the bolts measured from the shoulder is 5-3/4" on all of them.

So it looks like the rod is about a 1/4" short. SB on the bottom, SC on top.
