For hunting maybe try to take a mountain lion with a Parker. Not sure that’s ever been done but definitely doable.
Don't know about a Mountain Lion, but I took this Bobcat with a Parker Bros. DH-Grade of 1899 vintage --

Come on down here. We can take you to the oldest gun club in the nation.

If fishing, try Crane's loch haven lodge in Ontario. We went there before these two elves came into our lives

Dang Dave! What’s the story on the Bobcat?

Dave Noreen 12-22-2019 09:30 PM

On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving 1967, my friend Jim and I were hunting Quail down in Columbia County, Washington, and while moving through some trees, where just the stone foundations of an old set of buildings remained, my Brittany started barking. I had never heard that dog bark. I got over to where she was and looked up in a tree and there was the cat. Having #8 Quail loads in the gun, I looked around in my vest and found a heavy load #6 and used that to shoot the cat.

Thanks for the invite Mills, if I don't organize a hunting or fishing venture, something that simple might be very fun.
