Incidentally, it is a DH, not a DHE... the E indicating it has ejectors which your gun has not.

No ejector mechanism in the forend iron.

Thanks -- figured that but have never seen a Parker forend (or any other SxS) with ejectors. I guess I'd have to see one to understand how that works. All my SxS shotguns have extractors

This is a Parker ejector forend. Notice the left and right ejector hammers and the wider forend iron necessary to house the internal ejector workings.

New Parker

If I was just starting on Parkers you could not have picked a better all around gun(depends on chokes but judging from condtion of your gun they could be full and full or modified. What an exceptional stick of wood you got!!!!!!! You will enjoy if you like fine old things that really work!!!!
