Every once in awhile you find one with less than 3 inches of drop at heel. I've been lucky a couple times over the years.

This one feels really good ! But I've also got a factory original circa 1891 EH 28" that feels pretty good as well as a Grade 1 top lever 10 gauge with factory original 26 and 30 inch barrels that feels pretty darn good as well and that ones an 1887 .

On the other hand I have a circa 1904 GH 10 gauge with 34" barrels that has a dogs hind leg for a stock and the number under the trigger guard matches .
