In my 10 gauge 1 1/4 and 1 1/8 ounce loads I use a folded crimp I ALSO put an overshot card on top the shot to help and keep my crimps as flat as possible . I HATE pulling a shell out with a concave crimp . It also cuts down on needing candle wax to close any wee shot seeping holes in the middle of the crimp star .

i roll crimp my losds so you gota use a overshot card to keep the shot from falling out....charlie
