Hi Piro and Dean,
Yep, I saw Piro's original post above and have been following along since then. Also, I appreciate your PM!! A couple of things... I don't really view Piro's post as a Want to Buy - rather - it was a terrific post on his inherited Parker and Piro wanting to preserve it. If folks can assist him finding proper parts to restore it - we are all better for it, as one Family Parker is preserved. In my world - that's VERY different than a new person to this Forum posting "I'm Looking to buy an AAHE" (or whatever) as they could have cared less to play by the Forum rules... Anyway - Piro - I hope these folks can assist you in obtaining your parts for your family Parker! John D. |
Incredible how a shotgun brand can create bonds between people all around the world. I felt part of the big family since I saw this forum. To be honest i have seen threads without being a member since 2010 and knowing the fact that I was going inherit a Parker this forum was to be the very first stop for me

will 20ga stock fit on a 16 ga
Hello !! :)
It's been a few days searching the web for stock and forend wood. Not lucky up to now. I have a question regarding the stock size. Will a stock from a 12ga 1 size frame fit my trojan 16ga receiver? Supposing the ideal situation, if I find an original stock from a 16ga will it fit right away or need some fitting(even minimal)? Wish you the best Piro |
The problem with that is Trojan fore ends are different from fore ends on other grades.
|
In all probability no used Parker stock will fit perfectly to another Parker, but I believe your chances are better to fit a 1-frame Trojan stock to another 1-frame Trojan. Others may have differing opinions.
