Hmmm...
Lower edge of the checkering has been buggered by someone who thought he wanted to practice becoming a checkerer... . |
Yes i saw that. Thought it would be easy to fix or at least make less noticeable. .

Sorry, I meant to refer to the frame size chart in The Parker Story, page 527 if I recall correctly. The "chart" doesn't seem to give a reading on the width of the stock at the frame, so I went to the dark side and decided to measure some frames with an actual Vernier caliper. The #2 frame is about 1.800 inches, the #3 frame is about 1.890 inches. I hope I remembered these figures correctly while I walked up the stairs to the computer. Tell us which you have, unless it is a smaller frame.

Good luck finding your straight grip #2 frame stock. I need the same in C or D for my CH two barrel set.

Yes. I hear that. Ive been looking for years. But the search is part of the fun
|
Brent, post the width of the stock. Thanks.
|
Bill, Will do when it arrives. Not due until Tuesday

Received B grade stock
The stock I Purchased arrived today. It turned out to be a #2 frame. Upon close examination there is a repair to the wrist which is visible but seems strong. The poor checkering was an attempt to further conceal the repair.

Thanks for checking.
