Parker Pages - Two Days at Cheeha
The most recent Parker Pages was excellent. I especially enjoyed Mills Morrison's piece on the history and current uses for some of the low country plantations not too distant from the Cheeha River. Archibald Rutledge in all probability trod some of the same ground during the hey day of river rice plantations in the low country. Keep those articles coming.

Thank you for the kind words, Buddy. The person to really thank is my Dad for making that hunt possible. The article wrote itself from there.
I am not sure if Archibald Rutledge ever hunted here, as it is out of his territory, but I believe more than a few notables have been there |
My congratulations to member Mike Franzen for his Parker Pages feature "Dr. Parker and Ohio Pheasants"!
It is well done and well photographed. PLUS, it features some of my favorite people and my fav preserve: Triple Creek Farms! May they all enjoy their Parkers and the grand sport at TCF... that is, until I return and make a muck of things for a Fall afternoon. |
Hammer gun in the hardwoods. What's not to like there? I see several articles I want to read. Just got ours today
