Bill Janelle shot lights out the whole time--was probably tough riding home with him, huh Pete. Missed that dry New England humor of Frank Cronin, and of course Edgar.
We certainly missed Eric, Rich, and Mike Smith also.

Bill shot great, he suddenly came alive after 40 years of shooting, fortunately I bested him by a few birds in the main event which made the trip home bearable lol.

Yes Harold, I was busy on the Bo-Whoop and did'nt get to shoot as much as I normally do. Next year I will be the shoot director for Fox so I'll be in charge of the Bo-Whoop and the Fox-Lefever challenge. I invite all of you to at least give the BW one go around as I know quite a few of you own Foxes and this is a major fund raiser for the AHFCA. The AHFCA is not as big as the PGCA so we need your support and to be honest with you it's just plain fun.

It was a great time and am counting down the days until next year.

My first time at the NE SxS

This was my first time at Hausmann's -- met a bunch of friendly, like minded people and had a great time. The weather was perfect for camping -- cool nights and sunny dry days (except for Wednesday the day before the shoot). I thought the courses were fair and perfect for this kind of shoot. And even though I have the distinction of "winning" last place at Bo Whoop even that was fun.

I brought my great grand father's A grade H&R 1880's era Damascus 12 gauge hammerless SxS and after having it inspected by Steve Cobb and others decided to shoot it at Mad Jack. It was fun to shoot the gun (it hasn't been fired in 2 generations) even though I only broke a few birds.

Thanks to all who invited me under their canopy for scotch and laughs. Thanks for all the introductions and thanks for showing me around. I'll be back.

Ron, it was good to meet you. Wow, what a beautiful old gun, and in great condition. Wish I had seen it in person.

Man! - That first picture on this page that Harold posted makes me look ooold... and that camo pattern on my shirt makes me look like I have a pot-belly...
Harold, you need to get a new lens for your camera that doesn't distort things so much.
