Am I correct in thinking the front trigger fires the left or open barrel and the rear trigger fires the right more tight barrel ?

Danny McHugh 05-14-2019 04:04 PM

yes front trigger fires the left more open choke left barrel.

Oh nice! So left then right, have you noticed any difference in recoil and target acquiring with this set up? To be honest I don’t think I have ever used the right barrel first, I m so use to right then left I’m not sure how I would react with the opposite! Is the stock cast on?

Only backwards for a righty, I would like to know if the triggers were modified or swapped. Edgar Spencer and I had a discussion about this at Addieville a few weeks ago. It appears as though the triggers were swapped, is that possible without modification? Perhaps Mr. Dudley will answer?

Rick Riddell 05-14-2019 05:52 PM

I just tried to swap my trojan triggers, they would have to be modified as the front trigger interferes with the rear trigger when placed backwards

I've never given this much thought until now but being a lefty myself I've shot just about everything designed for righties. The standard trigger setup being on the left and rearward is actually perfect for me as a southpaw. Firing the right barrel first directs the recoil more in line with the center of my body.
