Yes, it has been done on Repros - but not often.

Doing that should really improve its functionality.

When you patterned it did it shoot to "point of aim"?

A lot of the repro barrels are not thick enough at the muzzle to accept briley tubes.
You would have to at least contact them with measurements of your muzzles for them to tell you if they can or not.
