Doesn't one of our members have a Parker with a set of .50 rifle barrels? Mr. Day or Mr. Murphy?

When I got serious in collecting Parker shotguns in the late 1960's & early 1970's , I had a chance to purchase a set of barrel inserts in cal. 38-55 ,they were marked Parker Brothers. There was no one that I could talk to concerning if they were right or wrong. So I walked.

I also walked on a Parker single barrel 20 bore at the same gun show in Vegas.

Dummy, Allan

Allan, was that a SBT 20 or was it something else entirely - something we’ve not heard of until now?

Dean

It was a C grade, if I recall correctly, Parker single barrel trap, 20 gauge owned by an individual from the west and I told him that Parker only made 12 bore single barrel trap gun---little did I know there were 5 made.

Anyway, on the flight home to New Hampshire, giving the long trip I was thinking of the little 20 trap and the light bulb got a lot brighter ! who hell would have made a small frame for a single trap other than Parker---You big dummy !!! The price was in the vicinity of $1500.

My head was screwed on a little, I bought 2 Parker Tri Guns and an B grade single barrel trap , along with other high condition Parkers.

A good trip
Allan

Mr. Murphy does not own a Parker double rifle, unfortunately. He does own a 20 gauge Parker single trap.
