Dean and Eric, I needs a lot of TLC. needs a few small parts and wood repairs. Other than that all there. Disassembly proved all matching serial numbers on parts. Barrels with a hint of pitting. Hoping to make it the center piece of my small collection. I'll get pictures up next week.

I can’t wait.

They’re starting to come out of the woodwork Gary!

Be careful in NE Illinois, take less guns as theft is a problem. I'm ex Cook county and downstate refugee. Was in Chitown last week for work, the indigenous locals stay the hell away from the dirty dark green pickup with Alabama plates and the Crazed Cracker driving it. I'm lucky I don't have to go there too often.

Charlie:

Thanks, I tell the good folks down heah that I'm originally from the South (even with my slight upper midwest/east coast accent). The south Bronx that is. Pisses em off no end to have a "Yankee," (which I correct them to a "Damn Yankee") pull their chain a little.

Things smooth out when they figure out that I'm an individual and states rights guy and that the unpleasantness between the states was to stop the avarice and greed of the northern mercantile class politically and economically taking advantage of the south. Just New England and NY alone had enough Senators to have a quorum.

There is another great unpleasantness coming, keep your friends and family close, your enemies closer, a knife handy and your powder dry.

Spin

Pheasant Fest is now in the rear view mirror. Attendance by the PGCA members was stellar in my mind with the following folks attending: Mike Wasson, Ed Morgan, Dean Hanson, Matt Hanson, Garth Gustafson, Charlie Herzog, Bruce Day, Dick Dow, Jeff Kuss, Mike Franzen & Julia, and myself. Sales of raffle tickets appeared for the GHE appeared to be brisk thanks to Ed Morgan in particular, Garth, Matt, and Mike were also extremely instrumental in the sales as well. Ed was a relentless warrior for over 2 1/2 days as he waived tickets at every passer by. He even put me in time out when I stood in front of his table to long blocking his view motioning for me to move along and stating "you just cost me one" :) Thanks to everyone involved for all your time and effort in representing the PGCA. I will attempt to get some pics up that I had taken with my phone. They won't be the best but you can at least get a general idea of what was involved. There were some great guns furnished by the members. I feel certain the public enjoyed them, I know I sure did, thanks again !
