Kinks were worked out when they hit the market in 1912. No kinks in them. The parts are numbered to the gun. Check the serial number on the extractor. Should show the last three digits. Maybe not original to the gun. Measure and buy another from Brian if yours is not up to his measurements, if it is, add metal and file away. You can get a perfect fit then, just lay it on the receiver and have it touch the roll when finished filing, keeping the angle of the original.

That is why I posted measurements from a sampling of extractors that I had here, which are all very close to one another.
So that he could try to determine if there is an issue with his or not.

Jake, Just my opinion, but if you can extract the shell enough to lift them out with your fingers, why change anything? The trojan is sort of like the A model ford made to work. Gary

On a Parker extractor gun, the shells should come out of the chambers 3/16” or so.
Different makes of guns are different. Some come out a lot more.
