Apparently the guy was shilling. However, he was dealing with idiots and deserves one shill sale to defend himself from those idiots. I forgive him. I recommended the gun to several people. Never again.

Looks like some went off a little half-cocked on this one. Looks like the buyer was the bad guy. This usually happens when you ASSume something. I can imagine that no-pay bidders are a little more common, than they used to be.

I love this guy's new listing with the line he added...."Check your bank account BEFORE bidding. If it is empty do not bid!"

I wonder if someone would offer him the original no reserve auction hammer price ($4125) if he would accept it. My money would be on NO.

Is it just me or does this whole scenario seem a little contrived? Is there any way to see how long the broke buyers' account has been in effect. I'm guessing somewhere between the underbidders last bid and the broke bidders winning bid. Just my .02
