My favorite pheasant and duck load for a 12 bore is 1 1/4 oz. at around 1200 fps. Its the old 3 1/4 dram equiv. load. I don't shoot released pheasants but if I did, I would use a 1 oz. or 1 1/8 oz. load in the 12. |
