Fathers Parker

There is an Antique Arms Show September 15, 16 at the Surburban Showplace. Put on by the Michigan Antique Arms Collectors. I will have a table there as will others. Bring it and shop it around for the best price. (edit) Also more importantly what the sellers are asking for their similar guns.

Hi Den, Thanks for the information about the show in Michigan.
Mills, Thanks for the warm welcome.
Opening Day, Thanks for the advice about barrel length and Gauge. I also will measure the inside diameter of the end of the barrel. Thanks!

Scott - Simply measuring the muzzle diameter won't necessarily give you choke data, as choke is defined as the reduction in diameter at the muzzle versus the bore diameter. If you make an assumption that the nominal bore diameter of a 12 gauge is .729", then your muzzle measurement may be a reasonable guess. However, bore diameters vary widely. The terms Full, Mod, etc, are in fact defined by pellet concentrations shot on a target at specified distances
