And I believe the painting entitled Lake Tahoe may be of Emerald Bay.
Very cool. #3 and #4 are particularly sweet IMHO!
Lake Tahoe and Duck Hunting 50 Years Ago are my two favorites. I often wonder if the gentleman in white shirt sleeves and vest who's rowing the boat and standing in the tent is ol' Fred.
Those are nice paintings. I like the duck hunting one myself as well. Looks like it was painted based on an actual event from a memory of his hunts. I have an old canvas wall tent stored up in my dads old barn loft. Hasnt been used in 30 years. Seeing that picture makes me want to pull it down and set it up.

That is excellent!

Your collection of Kimble paintings is one of my favorite things.
It can not be overstated how much Mr. Hoffard contributed toward my overall Kimble collection. Thanks Destry.
That’s a very nice collection John.
I wish I could afford anything by WHF. . |
My Kimble collection not only includes two Parker shotguns originally owned by Fred and the six oil paintings shown on this thread. There is also an original Kimble/Klientz score card, an original Peoria Blackbird shipping label, and perhaps the rarest of all Hazelton books, an original copy of "Fred Kimble Master Duck Shot of the World."
