To answer some tech questions on the Lefever: 1) minimum wall thickness: .034" right and .040" left, both at ~15" from the breech and both as typical at the outboard wall on the horizontal axis of the bore. That's with a Galazan wall thickness gauge. 2) Gun weighs 7^9. 3) Stock drop is 2-5/8" and LOP is 14-1/8". |
I'll have my 20ga. H grade Lefever at Ernie's with which I also plan on shooting to qualify for the challenge. The qualification rounds will be shot on the 5 stand this year as opposed to the clays course. I know evil Mike will make it fun.:shock:

Thanks Mr. Srebro for reminding me about my Lefever G. I pulled her out of the back of the safe today and maybe will take her out shooting tomorrow.
