George, thanks for doing all you do. Maybe next year I may try and go to the dinner. Thanks to all that manned the Parker tent. I tried to find Art on Friday to buy his book, but don't think he was there yet. I met Harry, Mill's son--what a great kid, and you can tell Mills and Julia are raising him right.
George, hope to shoot with you at Ernie's. Reggie, I shot a WW Greener 12 sidelever hammer circa 1875, a German 16 ga hammer, a 4E Ithaca 16, a Parker Grade 2 Hammer 12. Many of my light, and 26" Parkers are much more suited for the small bore course at Hausmanns than at Drakes. So many guns, so little time! |

Yes Chuck that is Tommie boy in the first picture on the right. It was great shooting with everyone and really neat meeting you Sara what with being a LeFever descendant and from what I hear a pretty decent shot. Your G.G.G grand daddy would be proud. Hope to see you all at Ernie's. |

[QUOTE=Daryl Corona;242860]In that picture I was exercising my VHE 30" 28ga.
I thought that gun looked familiar! I have one just like it. Got to love those 30" barrels on a 28! |
Once again Drakes didn't disappoint. 500 targets over four days on two 100 bird courses. Mike, Daryl and I shot true pairs all four days and some of them were extremely difficult targets when done that way. I shot the BHE 32 inch 20, a CHE and GHE 16's, Fox CE 32 inch 12 and a Purdey.
Thanks for posting pics Harold our "photographer" was on vacation shooting:rotf: All that shooting and there was still time to visit the vendors and watch the challenge. |
