And I got Daryl's H&H 28 ga Hammer gun with the 410 barrels. I talked to him about that gun and knew that he really liked it and I am so I'm glad that I got it.

It is good to know that Daryl's favorite guns are finding new, caring custodians, we just wish it could have been under different circumstances.

Eric,

Your new H&H is a very sweet gun! Congratulations. You got a real bargain that should serve you well for many years.

Eric, was that one of the many H&H Rook rifles that were re-barreled into small smoothbores? I had a Hammerless H&H Rook rifle, that was originally .360 Rook, but re-chambered to .38/.357. Fun to shoot, but I wish it hadn't been altered.
H&H will give you a letter on it.

From what I remember talking to Daryl he said it was built as a 28 ga shotgun, I will probably check with H&H after I get the gun.

Rich Anderson 03-21-2018 07:22 PM

I do believe Edgar is correct.

You guys might be right I'm not sure, it will be interesting to find out though.
