Not necessarily "identical" Mark. They will probably still need a lot of fine fitting and filing to make them fit precisely right.

Maybe one of our "barrel" guys can help here?

You're having synapse errors. I think your plug wires are wet. I didnt take remedial mind reading.

You're all right in that I left gaps in my 'mind to hand' process that left my statement meaningless. Apologies to all for that.

But anyone with just a basic understanding should have gotten your meaning. Let’s not nitpick

Barrels

Mark shot the 10 bore today it's a cannon. You are finding out as I have this is a good bunch of guys you can be yourself with and that's what counts in my book. Dean and I have become friends even though we have yet to meet face to face. There are a number of them I met at the Southern SXS this year and was a pleasure for sure. You and I have got to get together before this season ends. Have a lull right now while my right eye due to diabetic retinopathy starts to clear. Has been a blur since Dec 5 but maybe 1-2 weeks to go and look out doves or whatever.

We all knew what he was attempting to say, right off, Jim, But heck, how often do you get a chance to heckle a real editor..

The first thing you want to do when trying barrels is to remove the hook from the barrel lug. Sometimes the hook will not disengage from the gun which was not made for the barrels being fitted, which presents quite a challenge.

Been There ,Done That , That's the best advice so far ! I was very fortunate ,the gun would still open just enough to get to the tiny bolt to remove it and then the gun popped open ! What a deal that was  !
