Black powder loaded in brass shells, 10 gauge gun, and below freezing temperatures..... a perfect combination.

Hi Frank, I didn't really notice the cold so yes it was a perfect combination.
I was actually shooting at Peace Dale Shooting Preserve in South Kingstown. It's only 10 minutes from my house. Addevielle is about 40 minutes away from me and make it up there a handful of times a year for clays. It would be great to get a few PGCA members together for a black powder preserve hunt there. |
Very nice ! I've got a match to yours except mine was made in 1883 and not in as good shape .

I have it's twin in 12ga, made in 1883, 32"bbls, v tight chokes. Very nice gussied up gun that is far and away my best duck gun for ducks over the horizon. Incredible trap gun also.
