I tried to post this earlier, but it is not here so I will try again. Maybe it ended up on another thread.
I called today about this gun as I was curious. I spoke to John, very professional. Here is what I learned and may save you a call:
30" barrels not a matching number. Many dents and bores .742 both sides.
26" barrels numbered to the gun, .010 and .015.
Both sets ejector and reblued.
Stock has been cut, and a replacement Parker butt plate added, but chip in toe of butt plate. Not quality work.
Parker single trigger. Floor plate has two screws, one screw with a locking screw. According to The Parker Story, two screws indicate the later improved single trigger. This gun is too old to have had the new Parker trigger installed at the factory when assembled, so I guess it was added later.
Wood refinished, obviously recased with cyanide colors.
I am always looking to move up and was interested but when I found details I passed. It is a consignment thus the "make an offer." I wrote this from memory from earlier today while driving during the conversation, so I hope I have all of the details. My memory is good on some days.:)
