The Double Gun Journal is first class all the way. I have ordered a lot of their books and DVD's and it is all great. Wild River Press is another great company

I only loan my books to trusted friends.
I learned my lesson years ago when I loaned a book that I had borrowed from a good friend. The book never came back and I spent years trying to find an exact replacement of "Death of a River Keeper" by Ernie Schweibert... signed by Schweibert. The book had been a favorite of my friend's and in the meantime I gave him an unsigned copy but I knew it wasn't good enough. So, my search began and it was an expensive search. . |

Just received my copy today; haven't had time to do much more than look it over, but it's certainly another first-class offering from the folks at DGJ. For what it's worth, it gets my recommendation!

I'm about 1/3 of the way into it.
I am blown away by the knowledge of both Austin S. and Austin W. - just incredible! . |
For those who thought they might get a copy but haven't yet... Daniel tells me he still has some and can fill your orders so you'll have it for some fine reading by the fire this winter.

Fly fishing and shotgunning are my only truly necessary "mental food groups"; pretty much everything else in life is a side show for me....
|
There are still some trade copies of "Austin S. Hogan, Fly Tyer and First Curator of the American Museum of Fly Fishing" available from the publisher, Double Gun Journal.
