Saw this at Galazan's while dropping off a couple of M21's for some work. Must have been a custom CSMC Fox for someone. Two barrels were lying next to it.

I'm sure these new Fox's are excellent guns mechanically because Galazan builds excellent guns but it bothers me that they are calling it an A grade and doesn't look anything like an A grade but looks like some kind of morphed Sterlingworth. They could have done a little better job with the engraving. I'm not a big fan of the screw in chokes either but these are nicely done from what I have seen in the pictures.

I saw one advertised for right around $4500-4600. I bought a A grade Fox 16 with a straight grip for that much. I'm not impressed with them and I doubt they will cut into the CSM line of Fox guns.

I think they're an insult to Fox A grade owners:)! Make a gun, give it a name, but don't infringe on those of us who know the difference! Call it a Fox if you must, call it a W Grade or a Z Grade or whatever you want to, but please...

I am intrigued by the concept, but fit/finish seems to be lacking. Or perhaps that's what $4500 buys these days.

I do not own a Fox yet!! just got my first Parker Hammer gun however MR McIntosh stated that the Fox 20 ga was the best 20 ga ever made in the USA saying it was perfectly proportioned. It was only his choice and I respect his opinion and am sure it is in the running for one of the best American made 20 ga guns they have fewer parts and strong as Tigers breath. Connecticut Shotgun makes some very fine shotguns they have been making FOX patterned guns for years. I wish I had the funds to buy some of their work.

It looks like a refinished (not restored) Strelingworth with upgraded wood. Some folks 'cup o' tea' but not mine.

Not my cup of tea either , I would look for a20 Gauge A Grade and put my 5 G's to it before I would consider the new gun ! I wonder why CSMC doesn't put the Anson Deeley latch system on the forends of their guns since they are to immulate the American Made Doubles ,in my mind it would make a worth while addition ! They look like a RBL to me with FOX stamped in the receiver ! Do you suppose these might catch the eye of the younger generation ,now that could be a bright spot !
