... and Kathy.

But of course Sorry for the omission

Ah, puppies. A lot of work, a lot of fun and every one of them will tug at your heart. Good luck, it's tough to let them go or are you gonna keep them all?
|
This will be our first breeding, never done it before but we have an excellent coaching team in Legh and his wife Jenn. They're professionals and have not only followed in the footsteps of the legacy of breeding the Twombly line (since 1925) but have been innovative in raising these fine dogs and their many, many litters of pups. I know I can call on them whenever I have a question.
We won't be keeping any pups but Legh and Jenn as owners of the stud, Coronation's Burdock, will have their pick of the litter. . |
I mentioned in another thread that we kept our litter of GSP's close. (family / friends) Although that was nice for us and all (we were young); I have to admit, in retrospect that wasn't the best decision we could have made for the pups. We would have done better by our litter by placing them in established hunting homes or one's that would meet the dogs activity requirements, as demonstrated previously. We wouldn't do that again..something to keep in mind.
Good luck with the breeding - a big pile of baby bird-dogs running about is a whole lot of fun. |
Dean
You better just hold on to the too tight vest and keep'er buttoned up. At least one of those pups is going to attach firmly right to your heart. |
Beautiful setter. I miss my setter Ringo.

Thanks. Her puppies should be very pretty.
