If it ain't broke, dont fix it. If you want something done perfectly to a Parker, go to DelGrego, Batchelder, Dudley, Turnbull or one of the others who have a significant hand in the game. You risk buggered screws going to most local smiths. There are lesser known experts as well, but they are lesser known because people keep their names under wraps, like a good fishing spot.

The taking apart cocked, is that all sxs's or just parkers

Especially ejector guns.... especially Parkers.

I did what Chuck suggested and will hopefully be taking it to the range on Thursday. Thanks for all the advice.

Just remember, you don't have to shoot 3 dr., 1 1/8 Oz shot to break a 16 yd. target. Be kind to your gun and shoulder.

I have taken my parkers to him and he does great work.
