Interesting that Parker continued to use the old style grip cap for so many years. Do we know what is the earliest date for a Parker with the Meriden grip cap?

Well, it wasn't "old" until there was a "new" version. And then, I am sure that inventory was being used up for a period.

About 6 or 7 years ago KTP had a .410 late Remington era skeet gun original in every respect that had a Meriden grip cap.
