I had a BP target pistol I had made and the trigger spring went soft. After about two years I re -heat-treated it. So, I'm sitting in the basement and decide to try it out. Put on a cap, aim at the cast iron drain and BOOM. Every gun is loaded. Lucky the wife was outside mowing the grass [ that is what they're suppose to do, isn't it ] and didn't hear the gun go off. I quickly opened the basement window and put on a fan to clear the air. She never knew and hasn't ask why there's no drain cover in my reloading room. Yes BP is still good in a loaded MLer, and yes all guns are always loaded. Learned my lesson.
