How do you keep the shells in the gun warm while you wait? You said you were shooting ITX BB shot, there are only a couple of published loads for it I have seen, one with PB and the other with Clays powders. Pressures were in mid to high 9000 range. I have never used ITX. I suspect since it is harder than Bismuth it will generate higher pressures. If there are published 12ga loadings for it you could use one them and be confident pressure would be less in a 10ga and further reduced by a roll crimp.

We hunted again this Saturday, only killed one bird, they were just not flying. The weather was clear with light wind and 25 degrees. By the way, we hunt large fields so I don't load the gun until I see something coming, there is plenty of time therefore I can keep the shells warm. Carvel

Went to the goose field this afternoon with the NH, only one small flock of 8 came in after circling two or three times, only 4 flew away, the others on the ground and now in the frig. Plan to go again in the morning. Carvel

Mongo like Blue Dot. Scott, any idea on the pressure?

I don't know what the pressure is but it is on the 10 ga loading spread sheet here some where. the only thing I don't like about this load is , it's dirty burning, Good luck Mongo
