Dave, are those coyotes or foxes?

Larry Frey 06-28-2010 08:31 AM

They look like gray fox to me. Nice photo Dave.

Thanks John for sharing that pic...it made me smile. Wish I could have met her....perhaps I will someday...you can introduce us up there....smiles.

John Dunkle 06-28-2010 08:58 AM

Hi Lee..!

That would be my pleasure to introduce the two of you..! Somehow, despite the span of what I would imagine would be nearly a century as an age difference - my guess is that you two would have more in common than in differences. For example, she was a very kind and gentle woman.

Dean and Larry, I was thinking Coyotes when I saw them. My Indian Chief neighbor said they were Red Fox. I just knew they were predators terrorizing his chickens, and that's my source of free fresh eggs.

Is this for June or July?

John Dunkle 07-20-2010 05:42 PM

Hey James!!!

WONDERFUL PICTURE!!!

As well - to answer your question about June or July - "Yes it is"..... ;)

In seriousness, I was going to do a poll a few weeks ago, but - as folks are out shooting (Parkers - not so much their cameras) - I left this up for a while longer as there haven't been a lot of entries for June (well - or July?)...

So - I'll get it done - and if others would please post pics - that would be outstanding!!!

John
